Dinamo restored parity in the 85th minute through Andrei Mărginean and confused the team from Gruia in the race for the title, so FCSB can mathematically become champions from the next round.
Neluțu Varga: “I’m angry”
Even though CFR Cluj’s chances of winning the title are quite small, Neluțu Varga, the club’s owner, hopes until the last moment.
“Of course I’m angry, I expected us to win, even though I’m not in the country and I didn’t see the match. Hope dies last, we’re fighting until the last second of the championship and we’ll see how we stand at the end ,” Varga said, for Digi Sport .
CFR Cluj is now in third place, with 35 points, tied with local rival Universitatea Cluj, whom they will meet in the next round at home.
The Transylvanian team can save their season if they win the Romanian Cup. They qualified for the final after winning 4-1 against Farul, and will face Hermannstadt in the last act of the competition.
